Hi Annemarie!
ReplyDeleteIt’s so great to meet you! Your intro is filled with so much personality and joy—I love how multidimensional you are. First of all, congratulations on your new independence and your adorable new hamster! That sounds like such a sweet and exciting chapter in your life. I’m sure she’s loving all the extra attention now that summer break is here.
As a fellow educator, I admire your passion for teaching ESL—especially with the younger grades where that foundational work is so important. How special that you got to teach some of your students two years in a row! That kind of continuity must have made such a meaningful impact on them.
Also, it’s amazing how creative and artistic you are! A musician, a painter, a gamer—your world seems full of rhythm and color. I’d love to see some of your landscape art sometime! And your love for Judy Garland and The Wizard of Oz totally makes sense—you seem like someone who appreciates both the magic and the emotion in storytelling.
Looking forward to learning more with you this semester! 💫
Warmly,
Andrea
